Awara coated with egg and sauce

(Tofu) aka awara

IngredientsSoya beans
4seasoning cubes
Salt
Chiffon cloth
Alom (or fermented pap water)

Procedure:
Soak the bean for about 10min,after that ,take the beans to a nearby engine and grind.make sure it is grind very smoothly . After that , sieve out the chaff and place a big pot on heat and pour in the grind soya beans,cover and allow to boil up, while it’s on heat, soak your alom allow to melt and set aside for later use .

Note :pls keep a close watch on it so it doesn’t foams and pour .if it ended up foaming up,just get a spoon and keep stirring until it calms down .

After it’s boiled , immediately add in the alom liquid.or ur fermented pap water cover and allow to cook for 1min. It’ll form lumps immediately,After that,bring down,pour into a chiffon cloth , before draining out the water , add the seasoning cubes and a lil bit of salt (this is just to give it more taste ).Now drain out the water by twisting the chiffon clothe tightly as shown below.

At this point keep on a surface and place something heavy on top of it(this is to help drain out the remaining water and also help make it solid )

Leave for 20mins or for as long as possible, remove from the chiffon cloth and cut it in ur desired shapes . I like mine to b in the shape as shown below 😄

Fry and coat it with egg it’s ready to eat .u can eat it with pounded dried pepper and seasoning or u can make a pepper sauce like I did . U can even eat it like that .
